During the first part of his visit, Max had the pleasure of meeting Kaelee (a 'very' friendly new found friend). Kaelee also happens to be born on the 4th of July and is only 2.5 hours younger than Max, but that didn't stop her from showing Max who is boss! Check out the clip and you'll see what I mean....
One thing Max was completely excited about; seeing his namesake 'Max the cat'. Whenever the 4 legged furry friend passed by, Maximilian shrieked with total delight - this was all very amusing....but not to Max the cat, who would just saunter by.

Max's Great Aunt Way came to visit for a couple of days too. It was nice having her around and the extra hands to pick up Max when he was Mr. Crankypants.Perhaps some of Max's most favourite time was spent in the lap of his Baba, who together would practice 'standing'. Max's legs are getting so strong, that by now he can support himself for a little while at a time on Baba's stomach.
Milestones achieved on this trip: In the short time that we've been here in the Sunshine State, Max has grown a nice amount of peach fuzz. It looks to be slightly red, no suprise considering I was a red haired baby.
And Max is now sporting 4 more teeth - a total of 6 razor sharp pearlies, that I need to be very careful around. Now I fear not only the sharks in these waters, but my son when he's feeling particularly playful while nursing.
